We are fully licenced by Transport Canada as a commercial business offering both a Water Taxi service and private lake cruises.
Our guests have been ecstatic about their experiences on our water taxi or boat cruise on Lake Okanagan and often come back for more whenever they can!
Whether you just want to go from Point A to Point B with our unique private taxi service, or want to enjoy a fun boat ride on Lake Okanagan that's just for you or your group for a one hour, two hours or more (as much as you want!), we offer services on board our luxurious bowrider the Gael Force that will not disappoint.

Our unique water taxi service is available 7 days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and runs from April 1st to September 30th every year. Since our water taxi is completely private just for you and your group, we can custom tailor your trip to your own requirements. Getting to your destination does not have to be boring. Sure, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride if you are in a hurry and we will zoom you to your destination. Or if you want to enjoy a cool dip along the way, we can accommodate that too!
Our boat is equipped with plush and comfortable seats along with bow and stern tables for maximum convenience. There is also a swim ladder mounted beneath the swim platform. Most importantly, yes there is a "bathroom". The Gael Force provides an enclosed "head" compartment with a flushing commode and wash basin. We also have a fridge on board to keep your snacks and drinks cold if you don't bring your own cooler. You can even wash up in our sink with running water.
We do not provide beverages or food on board except bottled water at no additional cost. However Transport Canada has approved that you can bring along your own cooler with your favorite snacks and drinks. Or pick up a meal "to go"from one of Kelowna's top eateries and enjoy it while taking in the incredible scenery from the water!
We are licensed for up to nine passengers at a time on our private water taxi ride or Lake Okanagan boat tour.
We do allow small dogs on board at no additional charge - please check with Peter Brady for more information about your pet's safety.
Please click here for our Cruise Rates and click here for our Water Taxi Rates. Outside of posted hour water taxi and leisure cruise trips will also be accommodated whenever possible, although after-normal-hour bookings will incur a small surcharge above our cruise or taxi rate.
All trips must be paid in full before departure, either by cash, credit cards (Visa or Master Card) or e-transfers.
A 10% administration fee will applied to all cancellations. Cancellations with a minimum of 10 days advance notice will receive a 100% refund, less the administration fee. Cancellations received with less than 10 days' notice but more than 48 hours notice will receive a 50% refund, less the administration fee. However, we understand there may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from fulfilling your reservation. In this case we will do our best to re-book you for alternative dates. If you are unable to find suitable alternative dates, the above cancellation fee schedule will apply. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather (see below), safety, mechanical or behavioural issues. Guest behavioural issues are defined as excessive alcohol consumption or abuse of staff.
At Kelowna Water Taxi & Cruises, we take the safety of our passengers and crew very seriously. For this purpose all water taxi rides and cruises are subject to weather conditions and the captain will have final decision regarding departures.
